to be adventurous

The feel to belong, the feel to be someone.

I feel quite obliged to update my blog now. You see, my roommate has been rambling about everybody not updating their blogs so I suggest, if you know her, please I plead you to entertain her with new post.

Since I was travelling the whole time for three consecutive weekends, I do not really feel guilty about not updating though it might be quite a shame because many actively update their blog(s) while travelling. I don't take pictures during my travel - forgive me - and don't ask me why but I've uploaded some simply for your entertainment.

One. (you may skip this part)
I went to Port Dickson, two weekends ago. Such a lovely place to meet old friends...of my dear father. I may agree that everybody had real fun while we were there. My team won in those games so I got myself a wooden clock. It was two-day trip and I didn't drive so I wasn't so tiring. Papa bought me a new swimming suit which still delights me until today.

The wooden clock I'm so proud of. And it smells like IKEA!

Two. (you may proceed and also skip this part)
I resigned on the very last day of February so I can head to Perak. I knew I deserve that trip because I haven't been anywhere since the semester break began. I headed north with Tiq and stayed at Ili's place.  I made them this while having a slight fever. It tasted great!

It isn't done yet. The topping was ever so delicious, I shall say.

We watched This Means War at Ipoh (it was my first time) and I remember driving Twelve's car for a day. I like the weather at Tronoh while we were on our trip. It was raining and cloudy most of the time and, phew, their mattresses are so great and comfy! I swear if it was a one-week trip, I'd have spend one or two day(s) sleeping ONLY.

I got back from Tronoh and immediately pack for Shah Alam. And then, the semester commences.

My stuff conquering Tiq's territory while she wasn't back yet. The white clothes rack next to Tiq's blue one is mine.

Three. (READ ONLY THIS PART)
It was a Thursday and I had 8-hour class session. Four hours in the morning, another four in the evening and dead meat by the night. Just kidding. Anyway, it was one hectic day. After the class ends at 6, Cruz rushed to send me off to catch the train to KL Sentral. I was supposed to reach there by 7.15 pm - in time for my John Carter (of Mars) movie. The train was really late but luckily Twelve got us the ticket on 7.45 pm. I made it around 15 mins before the movie began.

After the show ends around 10 pm, Twelve wished for Carls Jr. sandwiches. We ordered and after 20 minutes, we both realized that we wouldn't make it to KL Sentral in time for our last train to Batu Gajah at 11 pm! Twelve ran off to fetch our bags from the locker room and I waited for our order. Just as I got our dinner, I ran to the locker room only to find that Twelve wasn't there(!) and I panicked. I grabbed my phone only to find that it has drained out of battery. My luck, Twelve waved from afar and we both ran to the Midvalley KTM Station.

It took us 10 minutes to decide that we should and must take the cab instead of waiting for this train. I remember running like a participant in The Amazing Race with the backpacks and paper bag we were carrying. We got a cab around 10.40 pm - heavily panting at the back seat while the cab driver rushed us to KL Sentral. We tipped him more since he got us there around 10.55 pm.

As we sit down at the bench near Gate A, catching for our breath and waiting for our most awaited last train to Batu Gajah, there was an announcement,
"Attention to all passengers who will be boarding the next train to Ipoh, the train is expected to arrive at 1.30 am. This train will depart at Gate A. Thank you."

My dear stranded Twelve. Ever so sleepy and exhausted.

Don't worry.
The train did not arrive that late, at 1.30 am. It only arrived much later at 2.30 am and departed at 3 am. We finally reached Batu Gajah around 5.45 am - all exhausted especially to think that it does not end there since we have to travel further north few hours later.

Yes sir, thee shalt continue.
Until then.

footnote: No, I didn't go to Tronoh AGAIN. It was a pit stop...to Tanah Merah.
