Like seriously, if you are born on the same year with me, I am probably way younger than you are (except for Shank kau memang aku tak boleh lawan). I am young, youthful and content.
Do you have curfew at home? At this age?
Aku ada curfew. Ada masa aku tak puas hati dengan curfew tu. I mean, I am getting older. Dulu masa kat sekolah boleh la "mesti sampai rumah sebelum 7 tau" but now I thought macam kena la loosen up sikit. Probably at 9 or something.
Prinsip kat rumah aku as long as you still live with your parents' money in your parents' house, you cannot have your own rules against your parents. So if Puan Ibu says ''BALIK'' before 7, you'd better find appropriate excuse kalau sampai lambat dari 7. Puan Ibu rules sebab dia yang bagi duit belanja *twait for my salary ok ma<-----poyo. tak sedar diri*.
However Puan Ibu acts differently in these rules. Dia ada dependent factors dia tapi dia tak pernah bagitahu pasal faktor-faktor ni. Sekadar berdasarkan pemerhatian aku.
Factor #1: Twelve drives.
Kalau aku keluar dengan Twelve (bersama-sama rakan-rakan lain atau tidak), dan pakcik ini yang drive, Puan Ibu seems to worry less. Dia tak push aku untuk balik awal. Puan Ibu cuma risau cuaca buruk dan jalan jam je. Dia akan text instead of call. Text pun pendek yang tak pressure sangat untuk dibaca. Bukan warning tapi rather, a reminder.
Factor #2: With Twelve and public transport.
Kalau keluar dengan rakan-rakan, dan Twelve pun ada, Puan Ibu worry a little more then Contoh 1. Dia akan call instead of text, tapi dia cakap dengan tenang dan ada nada bergurau. Dia mungkin risau sebab naik public transport so prone to involve dengan street crimes. Tapi Twelve ada, so dia tak pushy. Dan dia yakin aku tak balik lambat sangat sebab aku tak suka public transport lewat malam so jaminan untuk balik awal sangat tinggi.
Factor #3: Public transport.
Dia call. Balik sebelum pukul 8. Dinner mesti kat rumah. Tak boleh merayau lama. Pushy sikit. Calls and texts involved.
Factor #4: Other people drives.
Sangat sangat pushy. Texts every one hour and call bila dah senja. But usually I don't go out with people yang drive malam-malam (except Twelve).
YES, these apply when I have to go back home instead of hostel.
If hostels, I don't usually tell Puan Ibu if I am off to someowhere within perimeter *ye la kau, perimeter kau termasuk jiran sebelah negeri la en? Ha ha*
And do you see that Puan Ibu gives her trust to Twelve? So sebenarnya siapa nak date aku memang kena jumpa Puan Ibu dulu baru dia boleh bagi kepercayaan untuk extend masa keluar rumah. *ceh, perasan. Just kidding.*
Do you believe in karma? Aku rasa anak aku pun akan jadi macam ni nanti dan I will be worried to death kot. Puan Ibu is a very calm person. As for me, I don't know what type of Mom I will be. Yet, yes yet.
